From a Small Idea to a Large Community
The creation of Teen Patti Joy stemmed from a simple idea: to bring India’s most popular traditional card game to players worldwide in the most authentic and accessible way possible.
In 2020, a group of tech enthusiasts and game designers passionate about Teen Patti came together in Bangalore. They observed that while numerous similar products existed in the market, few platforms genuinely offered players a secure gaming environment, fair competition, and seamless social interaction.
Four years on, Teen Patti Joy has evolved from a start-up team into an industry-leading platform with over 200 employees. With offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurgaon, our services span across India and multiple countries and regions overseas. Yet we remain steadfast in our founding purpose: to infuse every game with joy and ensure every player feels a sense of belonging.

Development Journey

In March 2020, the founding team formally established itself in Bangalore. The initial eight members embarked on their journey with the dream of creating an ideal card gaming platform. That August, the Android version v1.0 launched, surpassing 100,000 registered users within its first month – demonstrating the market’s appetite for a secure and engaging gaming experience.
In April 2021, the iOS version was officially released, establishing Teen Patti Joy as a dual-platform sensation. By December that year, registered users surpassed one million, coinciding with the launch of our inaugural original ‘Championship Mode’ to enrich the gaming ecosystem.
In June 2022, the platform passed rigorous audits to obtain ISO 27001 information security certification, becoming one of the few platforms in India’s online gaming industry to hold this international accreditation. This provides robust safeguards for players’ funds and data security.
In September 2023, we formally launched our Responsible Gaming Toolkit and established partnerships with mental health organisations, prioritising player wellbeing and promoting a healthy gaming culture.
In May 2024, registered users surpassed the five million milestone, with game modes expanding to over thirty varieties. From a small team in Bangalore to an industry-leading platform now employing over 200 staff across India, Teen Patti Joy has consistently walked alongside players, driving continuous innovation to deliver more thrilling gaming experiences for players worldwide.
